An alkaline electrochemical cell having a gelled anode including zinc powder and a Theological modifier is disclosed. The rheological modifier reduces at least one of the gelled anode's key rheological parameters thereby enabling transportation and distribution of the gelled anode within a battery manufacturing facility. |
