PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of troubles when a load occurs during the sorting operation. SOLUTION: When a finger of a worker or an article is pinched by a movable tray and an overload is applied to the movable tray, a latch claw 34 is removed from a concave-convex part 33a of a rotor 33, and the rotor 33 to be rotated by the driving force from an output shaft 24a of a driving motor is idly rotated in relation to a disc-like body 27. Transmission of the driving torque from the driving motor to the movable tray 8 is thereby cut. Namely, in the overload condition, the force for pushing the latch claw 34 out of the concave part of the concave-convex part 33a is applied by the torque of the rotor 33, and when this force exceeds the energizing force for pushing the latch claw 34, engagement of the latch claw 34 with the concave-convex part 33a is released, and transmission of the torque from the disc-like body 27 to the rotor 33 is cut to function as a torque limiter.
