PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility by providing a composition providing confirmation of operating states of a cooking stove burner and a grill burner from a top plate face. SOLUTION: The gas cooking appliance has a first operation part 8 and a display part 9 for indicating and displaying operation of the cooking stove burner 4, and a second operation part 6a and a display part 6b for indicating and displaying operation of a grill part 5. The first operation part and the display part 9 are arranged on a top plate 3, and the second operation part 6a and the display part 6b are arranged such that they can be housed on the same face as a grill door 5a. A zone visual confirmation means 24 is provided for providing visual confirmation of an installation area of the burner 4 and installation areas of the operation and display parts 8, 9 in a light emitting state in a boundary area of the first operation part 8 and the display part 9, and the cooking stove burner 4. The zone visual confirmation means 24 is composed so as to change the light emitting state following input indications of the first operation part 8 and the second operation part 6a.
