PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication structure for an engine increasing strength of a cylinder and a piston. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the lubrication structure for the engine provided with a piston 12 sliding in a cylinder 11 of the V-type engine and lubricating means 3, 14 jetting oil to cool the piston 12. The lubricating means 13, 14 are arranged to an anti-thrust load side of the cylinder 11 corresponding to a slide surface of the piston 12 and a notch part 18 of the piston 12 constructed according to arrangement of the lubricating means 13, 14 is formed on the anti-thrust load side of the cylinder 11.
