PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image of high image quality more efficiently than conventional devices, in image display of a multi-bit memory system in an application to, for example, a liquid crystal display device of the multi-bit memory system with respect to an image display device, an electronic apparatus, a portable apparatus, and an image display method. SOLUTION: Input image data (SIG) is recorded to memory parts 62 of respective pixels, and gradation is expressed by time-division driving according with input image data (SIG) recorded in the memory parts 62.
