PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific antibody capturing method and a specific antibody capturing body capable of capturing easily, quickly and surely a specific antibody, from a plurality of species of antibodies of recognizing a virus structure protein included in a virus belonging to Paramyxoviridae. SOLUTION: The method is a specific antibody capturing method for capturing the specific antibody, from the plurality of species of antibodies of recognizing the virus structure protein included in the virus belonging to the Paramyxoviridae, and the specific antibody is captured in a base body by bringing a sample containing the plurality of species of antibodies into contact with the base body carrying the virus treated with a prescribed reagent.
