The method involves attaching a first sealing material (5) into the gap (1) between a window frame (2) and an embrasure (3), and then gluing a local foam (15) and a vapor-diffusion film (7) to the inside (I) of the window frame to form a second sealing material (4). The second sealing material also includes a flexible foam core (6) that is as thick as the gap width (D) between the window frame and embrasure. The flexible foam core is jammed and clamped to the embrasure and second sealing material.
