The pyro-depliator has a grinding body (1) that is rotated by an electrically driven shaft to cause friction on a spark-piece (2) so as to create powerful sparks, which hit the hair-keratin so as to pyrolitically disintegrate the hair-keratin. A unit (A) is inserted into another unit (B) using a thread or bayonet fastener. The body and spark piece are positioned within the unit (A) so that a contact and/or an abrasion of the spark-piece is possible. The unit (B) is guided slowly over a skin surface by guiding the unit (A) so that wheels of the unit (B) have continuous contact with the skin.
