<p>The improvement, in a process for the catalytic hydrogenation of atmospheric carbon dioxide carried out in a hydrogenation reactor (1) generating liquid and/or gaseous hydrocarbons, consists in recovering said liquid and/or gaseous hydrocarbons and burning them in the presence of an oxygen-rich gaseous atmosphere and preferably in the presence of pure oxygen in a combustion chamber (2), the gases emanating from the combustion driving a turbine (3) coupled to an electrical generator, the gases recovered at the exit of said turbine then being, after partial decomposition, reinjected into the inlet of the hydrogenation reactor (1), with intermittent injections of hydrogen into said hydrogenation reactor (1) and of oxygen into said combustion chamber (2). The subject of the invention is also an installation suitable for implementing the process.</p> |
