A portable display device is provided to fold or unfold a panel housing mounted with two display panels and form one large screen by closely joining two display panels simultaneously with unfolding the panel housing. The foldable panel housing(20,40) is mounted with two display panels(2,4) by including a connector(6) for folding/unfolding the panel housing. Various kinds of circuits are mounted to the panel housing. If the panel housing is unfolded, two display panels form one large screen by closely joining with each other. A cover(10) covers a side of the display panel if the panel housing is folded and is placed to a rear side of the panel housing if the panel housing is unfolded. The cover comprises a central and side cover rotatively joined through a cover connector. A shaft projection(6a) is linearly moved along a central cover groove by forming the shaft projection to the cover and forming the central cover groove to the central cover.
