<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel devised to secure strength and rigidity, and to reduce cost, while reducing size and weight. <P>SOLUTION: A wheel mounting flange 6' is formed in a flower type shape having a cutout to the inner diametrical side from a pitch circle diameter of a hub bolt insertion hole 6b in the hub bolt insertion hole 6b by avoiding a periphery of the hub bolt insertion hole 6b drilled and equally arranged in the circumference on a side surface 6d on the outer side by hammering work and a chamfering part 15 on which axial direction dimensions are set in an area of 1 to 5mm is formed on an outer peripheral edge of the wheel mounting flange 6' on this bearing device for the wheel on which a hub wheel 4' integrally has the wheel mounting flange 6' to mount the wheel on an end part. Consequently, no burr grows on an outer peripheral edge of the side surface 6d and is rolled up in the side of the side surface 6d even when the side surface 6d on the outer side of the wheel mounting flange 6' is formed in desired dimensions in a machining process, and burr removal in the machining process is eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
