<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stairs ascending/descending assisting apparatus by placing steps on the stairs for improving resiliency and shock-absorbance, so as to assist when an aged and a physically-disabled person, for instance, ascend the stairs and also to reduce the load when they descend the stairs and thus a physical burden especially on legs of the person ascending/descending stairs is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The stairs ascending/descending assisting apparatus is composed of a step-stool structure having a bottom plane securely fixed on a tread of the stairs, a step-stool plane connected to the bottom plane and tilting with respect to the horizontal plane and a connecting plane which connects the bottom plane and the step-stool plane and is formed substantially flush with a depth surface of the stairs, and a resilient structure arranged within the step-stool structure and resiliently connecting the step-stool plane and the bottom plane. Herein, the bottom plane and the tread of the stairs can be securely fixed with bolts or an adhesive. Furthermore, the resilient structure can be formed with a resilient body which at least is inscribed in the step-stool plane and the bottom plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
