PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective device of an article storage shelf capable of reducing cost by easily installing a net. SOLUTION: The rectangular net 8 is constituted by connecting a wire rod in a grating shape, and is installed on the article storage shelf 1 in a state of juxtaposing a plurality of outside surface part of the article storage shelf 1. A net end part 8a corresponding to at least a pair of opposed sides among the four sides in the rectangular net 8, is formed in a state of bending to the article storage shelf side.
