PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for drying and dehumidification for clothes, having both functions of drying and the dehumidification for clothes in the use of a heat pump. SOLUTION: The machine is provided with a box body 5 having a drying room 1 inside, a clothes introducing opening 2 for the drying room 1, an intake 3 and an outlet 4, a heat pump unit provided with a refrigerant circuit 10 connecting a compressor 6, a condenser 7, a throttle device 8 and an evaporator 9 and an air duct 11 for sequentially flowing air drawn in from the intake 3 to the condenser 7 to the drying room 1 to the evaporator 9 and to the outlet 4. The opening 2 communicates with the air duct 11 between the condenser 7 and the evaporator 9 to be utilized as a second intake for flowing air outside the body 5 into the evaporator 9.
