PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape carrier which enables an identifying mark made in a manufacturing process to be easily discriminated in inspecting a tape carrier with multiple points pasted, and has a piece discrimination function enabling 1:1 matching for products in the case of identifying mark production on the products formed on semiconductor package tape carriers; and an inspection result management method capable of easily using the inspection results of products on the tape carrier having the piece identification function. SOLUTION: This semiconductor package tape carrier mounts in each product unit group a chip data carrier 3 capable of writing and reading a unique code assigned to each product with multiple points pasted. In addition, this tape carrier inspection result management method comprises a process for assigning a unique code to a product unit 1, a process for writing the code to a chip data carrier, and a process for correlating the right and wrong results of inspection in each product to the code.
