PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce undesired resonance by reducing a change in the strength of a magnetic field formed to focus coils and tracking coils. SOLUTION: The optical pickup includes: a lens holder 2 to which objective lenses 21 and 22 are attached and which is moved in a focus direction F and a tracking direction T; a support 3 for movably supporting the lens holder 2 in the focus direction F and the tracking direction T; a first magnet 13 arranged oppositely in a tangential direction Tz with respect to the lens holder 2 and having first to sixth divided areas; a second magnet 14 arranged oppositely in a tangential direction Tz with respect to the lens holder 2 and having seventh to twelfth divided areas; a plurality of tracking coils 11a to 11d provided in the lens holder 2 to generate driving force in the tracking direction in accordance with a predetermined divided area; and a plurality of focus coils 12a and 12b provided in the lens holder 2 to generate driving force in the focus direction in accordance with the predetermined divided area.
