PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow line measuring system which can facilitate installation execution of fixing a transmitter device at a predetermined position, and can accurately carry out specifying of the coordinate position of a receiving device, in tracking the position of an object to be detected. SOLUTION: The transmitter device 1 has a compression wave transmitter part 11 transmitting a compression wave intermittently, and is fixed to the predetermined position. The receiver device 2 has a compression wave receiver part 21 which receives the compression wave. A position operation part 24 finds the coordinate position of the transmitter device 1 at a local coordinate by using the compression wave which is received by the compression wave receiver part 21; then, the coordinate position is associated with the time of day, and the object to be detected is tracked. In calibration mode, the receiver device 2 is located at a reference position, whose coordinate position in a global coordinate is known. In the position operation part 24, the position of the transmitter device 1 in the global coordinate is computed. In an operation mode, using the position coordinate of the transmitter device 1 in the global coordinate and the local coordinate, the position of the receiver device 2 in the global coordinate is computed.
