PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reserve display device with its display area kept constant irrespective of its maximum power reserve amount and to provide a wrist watch. SOLUTION: The power reserve display device 1 for a wrist watch includes: a planet wheel mechanism 3 equipped with first and second sun wheels coaxial with each other and a planet intermediate wheel, a first planet wheel rotatably supported on the planet intermediate wheel at a decentered position and meshing with a pinion part of the second sun wheel, a second planet wheel integral with the first planet wheel and meshing with the first sun wheel, and a ratchet wheel coaxial with the first sun wheel; a planetary transmission wheel for transmitting the rotation of a square hole wheel to the second sun wheel; a planet intermediate wheel forming a part of the planet intermediate wheel and meshing with a barrel wheel; a power reserve intermediate wheel meshing with the ratchet wheel and a power reserve wheel meshing with its pinion part; and a display indicator mounted on the power reserve wheel at its center. The transmission wheel 20 and the second sun wheel 40 are each coaxially equipped with a plurality of toothed wheels 22, 23, 42, and 43. In order to change meshing gear wheels of the two wheels, the center of the second sun wheel is positionally changeable in their longitudinal direction while a gear ratio is adjustable between the second planet wheel and the first sun wheel.
