PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression natural gas engine improved in combustion by a simple structure in remodeling a four valve direct injection diesel engine to a compression natural gas engine. SOLUTION: In the compression natural gas engine having two intake valves and two exhaust valves per one cylinder installed in a cylinder head, having a depressed combustion chamber formed on the top of a piston, having a flat cylinder head bottom surface, and having a spark plug attached on a cylinder center in the cylinder head, the combustion chamber is provided with the center thereof shifted from the cylinder center.
