PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixture for a safety handrail fixing a horizontal handrail material 6 and diagonal members 7 and 8 so as not to be disconnected in the case of the transport of the safety handrail T and in the case of a nonuse such as a custody. SOLUTION: The safety handrail T is mounted between vertical members 2 and 2 for a building frame 1 for a scaffolding as a temporary handrail for a new upper-stage scaffolding board 10 from an existing lower-stage scaffolding board 10 when a prefabricated scaffolding is assembled and composed of the horizontal handrail material 6 and a pair of the diagonal members 7 and 8 pivotally attaching each one end section at both end sections of the horizontal handrail material 6. The fixture 12 for the safety handrail fixes the handrail material 6 and the diagonal members 7 and 8 so as not to be disconnected in the case of the nonuse and being made of a resin in the safety handrail T. The fixture 12 consists of a handrail-material fixing section 13 mounted so as to hold the horizontal handrail material 6 at the central section of the horizontal handrail material 6. The fixture 12 further consists of a pair of diagonal-member fixing sections 14 and 15 being continuously connected integrally so as to be placed on the underside side of the handrail-material fixing section 13 and having fitting sections 14a and 15a formed in an approximately C-shaped cross section so as to fit and fix the required sections of both diagonal members 7 and 8 respectively when both diagonal members 7 and 8 are folded to the horizontal handrail material 6.
