A METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANAGING THE POWER IN THE ISOMERY NETWORK HANDOVER

A method for managing the power in the isomery network handover includes: A. the media independent handover layer gets the power information, and provides the said power information to the media independent handover MIH user layer; B. MIH user layer determines the current handover policy according to the power information. The method enables the MIH user layer to get the power information in the manner of triggering the event by the media independent handover layer, and automatically selects the bottom network connection according to the current power status in order to implement the handover. The method can get the power consume parameter from the network side by sending the query message to the media independent handover layer via the MIH user layer, and selects the bottom network connection according to the power consume amount and the current power status in order to implement the handover. The method can make more correct and effective decision in the handover policy.
