A spindle for a tapping machine is provided to set the tapping machine just by coupling the spindle and to steadily and uniformly supply metalworking fluid in order to improve cutting efficiency. A spindle(10) for a tapping machine includes collet(12) to mount and detach a tapping tool to a leading end of the spindle, a supply housing(20) installed at a side of the spindle to be moved together with the spindle, and a metalworking fluid supplying pipe(30) to supply metalworking fluid to the supply housing for the installation of a metalworking fluid supplying hose(H2). The supply housing is supported to be rotated by front and rear bearings installed at sides of the spindle to form a supplying space between the supply housing and the bearings. A sandglass-shaped ring type supplying member is installed in the supplying space, a plurality of penetrating hole are formed in a side of the supplying member, and an introducing hole is formed in a side of the supply housing to penetrate the supplying space to connect an air supplying hose(H1).
