<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell capable of enhancing uniformity of the flow of a fluid on both surfaces of the separator. <P>SOLUTION: The separator 12A includes a first passage 21A formed on the front surface, and a second passage 22A formed on the back surface. The first passage 21A has a plurality of first main passages 71A, and a first sub-passage for making the first main passages 71A, 71A communicate with one another to run a fluid among them.
