METHOD OF ADJUSTING TENSION OF COMMODITY WEB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting the tension of a commodity web capable of improving product quality while a product volume is increased and the cost of the web when the type of the web is changed is low.

SOLUTION: In this method, adjustment loop parameters are determined and the tension of the commodity web moved by a conveying device is adjusted by a web tension adjustment part. The adjustment loop parameters for the web tension adjustment part are determined according to characteristic curves capable of being set as functions and/or at a plurality of support positions.
