<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a registration adjustment to be performed at the right end position and the left end position of an output size by adopting the average value as a registration adjustment value after performing the registration adjustment by widely using the whole of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording device, the printing position (the position at which a pattern printing is performed on a recording paper) of an automatic registration adjusting pattern is measured at three points of the left end, the center and the right end while adjusting to the lateral size of the recording paper, and the average value is adopted as the registration adjusting value in a regular printing. Although the average value is adopted as the registration adjusting value in the regular printing, when a printing designation of "to be printed at the center" is performed from a printer driver, the value which has been measured at the "center" is adopted as the registration adjusting value, and the printing at the center of the paper surface is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
