<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents the occurrence of density unevenness of a stripped pattern in the subscanning direction on an image. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises a subscanning position detection sensor 110 for detecting the irradiating position of light beam in the subscanning direction on the surface of the photoreceptive drum 31, wherein a laser exposure system 25, which scans a photoreceptive drum 31 by exposure with one or more laser beam, sets the light quantity of the laser beam from the irradiating position in the subscanning direction detected by the subscanning position detection sensor 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
