<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting device which can disperse a current flowing into a light emitter, thereby making uniform a light emission intensity in an in-plane of the semiconductor light emitting device, and can enhance a luminous efficacy. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor light emitting device 1A includes: at least a laminate 10a which comprises a first conductive layer 3 arranged on one face having an insulating property of a first substrate 2, light emitters 4 arranged locally on an outer face of the first conductive layer to be mutually continued, a second conductive layer 5 arranged only on an outer face of the light emitters sequentially one over the other, and a first transparent conductor 6; a first electrode (not shown) arranged in a part or the whole of an outer face of the first transparent conductor; and a second electrode 12a which is located so as not to be overlapped with the laminate, comes into electrical contact with the first conductive type layer, and is arranged at a position which is separate from the laminate and sandwiches the laminate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
