PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication master unit with a charging function and a radio communication slave unit, capable of suppressing the maximum current consumption of the radio communication master unit with the charging function and securing a communication distance between the master unit and the slave unit. SOLUTION: The radio communication master unit with the charging function comprises: a line interface part 1 for separating communication signals superimposed on a DC voltage from a private branch exchange into the communication signals and the DC voltage; a DC/DC converter 2 for converting the separated DC voltage to a required voltage; a master unit radio part 3 for performing radio communication with the radio communication slave unit 9; a master unit charging part 4 for charging the radio communication slave unit 9; a master unit charging detection part 5 for detecting that the radio communication slave unit 9 is connected to the master unit charging part 4; a power source control part 6 for controlling power supply to the master unit radio part 3 and the master unit charging part 4; and a master unit control part 7 for controlling the entire radio communication master unit 8.
