PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to certainly start measurement at a performance according to the specification of a measuring device using the display sections conventionally disposed in many measuring devices. SOLUTION: This measuring device having a display section for displaying a measurement result comprises a storage section for storing the required warm-up time required for obtaining a certain accuracy of measurement by a measuring circuit section, an elapsed time measuring section for measuring the elapsed time from a start of the warm-up, and a remaining time calculating section for calculating the remaining time of the warm-up based on the required warm-up time stored in the storage section and the elapsed time measured by the elapsed time measuring section.
