PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin trap in a lumber drying room capable of manufacturing high-quality dried lumber without discoloration by automatically discharging a dark color liquid accumulated in a bottom part of the drying room to the outside of the drying room in process of drying the lumber to prevent adhesion of the dark color liquid to the lumber occurring in drying it at high temperature. SOLUTION: This resin trap in a lumber drying room is structured such that a resin constituent having flowed out from the lumber 3 in drying is collected by dissolving it in water in a water tank 2 arranged on a floor part in the lumber drying room 1, and the level of the water in the water tank 2 is kept constant by discharging the stored water increment by the resin constituent dissolved in the water in the water tank 2 to the outside of the drying room. For the resin trap in a lumber drying room, it is preferably to keep the stored water clean by replenishing water in the water tank 2 in drying the lumber, and it is preferable to uniformly disperse, in the water tank 2, the resin constituent in the water in the stored water by agitating the stored water in the water tank 2.
