PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract images imagined by a user and display the images along with a text input by the user. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an image storage part for storing images in association with keywords indicating the content of the images and keywords indicating time; an image keyword extracting part for extracting from input text the keywords that the image storage part stores; a time detecting part for detecting the time that the text is input; a time keyword storage part for storing the keywords indicating time; a time keyword extracting part for extracting the keywords that the time keyword storage part stores in association with time; an image extracting part for extracting the images that the image storage part stores in association with the keywords extracted by the image keyword extracting part and the keywords extracted by the time keyword extracting part; and an image output part for outputting the extracted images along with the text input.
