The method involves pressing side flanks or side walls of a pneumatic tire from each other from an assembly for a certain time. Plate-shaped sliders are fastened in an inner side of the side flanks or side walls. The sliders are pneumatically or mechanically pressed away from each other. The pneumatic tire from the assembly on the rim for the certain time is supported with the side flanks or side walls. The tire is attached on the rim and sealed with its bulge. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for arranging an assembly of an inflatable vehicle pneumatic tire on a rim of a wheel.
