<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition for laser marking, excellent in laser marking property without reducing a halogen content or without containing any halogen while keeping characteristics such as molding properties and mechanical physical properties which have originally, and a molded product of polyester resin for laser marking obtained by molding the resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition suitable for laser marking comprises (a) 100 pts.wt. polyester resin, (b) 0.5-40 pts.wt. novolak type phenol resin and as necessary a flame retardant aid. The molded product of polyester resin is obtained by molding the resin composition and subjected to laser marking by laser irradiation.
