PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a contraction scale on a image from fluctuating along a center path without increasing a calculation load, and to prevent the same observation object from being displayed overlapped at a part where the center path is curved markedly.
SOLUTION: Disks 13A to 22A of a maximum radius (R) of the large intestine 12 are created, and contours of each disk are connected with each other through virtual springs 31a to 39b. Next, orientations of the disks are adjusted so that virtual spring energy E may become minimum so as to prevent adjacent disks from crossing with each other. Then, by projecting virtual beams through each disk, an image inside of the large intestine 12 is formed. Thus, the fluctuation of the virtual beams along the center path 11 becomes small, so that the contraction scale on the image is prevented from fluctuating along the center path 11, and the same observation object is prevented from being displayed overlapped at a part where the center path 11 is curved markedly.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
