<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map function expansion system enabling even a user who can not read a map to utilize the map. <P>SOLUTION: When a map information display process (S4) is executed, the information identifying an object indicated on a map 3 is displayed on a cellular phone 5 (processes a-h of S4) by receiving indicated object information from an IC tag 3a with the cellular phone 5.
