<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method, an image forming device, an image forming system, and a program for realizing the above method, device and system, wherein the sheets of transfer paper can be made minimum in number corresponding to an intensive rate at intensive printing, by adjusting the layout and page leaving-off position of the documents so as to change the total number of pages when the documents bearing the low importance of layout information are printed out. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device (42) is connected to a terminal (41) through the intermediary of a network (43) and intensively prints originals having two or more pages at a prescribed intensive rate. The image forming device (42) is equipped with a total page calculating means (426) which obtains the total number of pages of the originals; an intensive state judging means (427) which judges whether the total number of pages can be divided by the prescribed intensive rate without a remainder or not; and a layout changing means (428) which changes the layout of the originals so as to enable the total number of pages of the originals to be divided by the prescribed intensive rate without a remainder, when the intensive state judging means (427) judges that the total number of pages of the originals cannot be divided by the prescribed intensive rate without a remainder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
