<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of preventing leak, secondary outflow of information and furthermore, flowout of a large amount of information. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system has printers 1500, 2000, a host computer 3000 and a trace information management server 1000. A printer driver 203 and a job trace functional part 400 of the host computer 3000 generate and collect data for trace according to a received drawing instruction. The job trace functional part 400 retrieves the data for trace according to retrieval conditions, creates retrieval results and decides whether or not forbidden conditions of various functions of the printers are included in the data for trace according to the retrieval results. When the forbidden conditions are included in the data for tracing job, functional restriction information (tag) is embedded in the data for trace and the drawing instruction, the data for trace is transferred to the trace information management server 1000 via a job trace management part 500 and printing data is transferred to the printers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
