<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image with proper reproducibility on a display device, and to appropriately perform hand regulation such as exposure or white balance. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus (1) is provided with an image sensor (29) for generating the image signal of an object, a display device (43) for displaying the image signal, and also a parameter-switching means (34, 35, 40) for switching the parameter to which the quality of the image to be displayed on the device (43) is changed over.
