PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device greatly reducing heat energy required for fixing toner, making rise time after energizing for fixing short and not requiring energizing while standing by. SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with a temporary fixing part A temporarily fixing toner stuck on a surface of a recording medium so that air between toner particles is extracted pressurizing in the direction of thickness of the recording paper and a real fixing part B carrying out real fixing of the toner temporarily fixed by pressurizing in the direction of the thickness of the recording paper as well as melting the toner by heating from a back surface side of the recording medium.
