<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of efficiently performing trapping/overprinting. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU230 of a printer 150 functioning as the image processor comprises an object extraction unit 330 for extracting a part image from image data, a pair extraction unit 332 for extracting a pair from a plurality of objects, a calculation unit 334 for calculating a redundant printing amount for each of three primary colors of a color material of the part image based on attribute of the pair, a rule storage unit 322 for storing content of a plurality of processings and a rule for executing each of the processings, a processing content storage unit 324 for storing the processing content, and a determination unit 336 for determining whether or not a pair of the part image coincides with a rule associated with a priority sequence based on the rule and the processing content, and an execution unit 340 for executing a trapping or overprinting process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
