PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely update data stored in a rewritable nonvolatile memory. SOLUTION: The data processor is provided with a block control unit 27 for writing in a block number area of the old block storing original data a value indicating that data stored in a data area of an old block are not valid and writing a value of an original block number of the old block in a block number area of a new block where the data updating the original data are written within one access cycle by a CPU 23 or a DMAC 24. The block control unit 27 completes an access cycle when writing the block number of the old block and the block number of the new block is completed. A reset control unit 25 does not perform internal reset until the access cycle is completed even when an external reset signal is inputted during the access cycle of the CPU 23 or the like but performs the internal reset when the access cycle is completed.
