PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that is superior in the balance of low-temperature fixability and grindability, with respect to an electrostatic image developing toner for a heat fixing system, and to provide a toner binder. SOLUTION: The toner binder consists of two or more resins, containing a resin (A) having a softening point of 125-180°C and a resin (B) having a softening point of 80-120°C, where both the resin (A) and the resin (B) are a polyester-vinyl composite resin and 60-100 mol% of an alcohol component that constitute the polyester resin of the (A) being a 2-6C aliphatic diol.
