PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device capable of returning a drive mechanism using a motor as much as possible, even when the drive mechanism is temporarily in an abnormal state. SOLUTION: In the motor driving devices 23 and 24 for drive-controlling a motor 22 for moving an object 10, when the initialization operation of an apparatus in which the motor is loaded is performed after a power supply is applied or the returning operation of the apparatus after abnormality occurs in the apparatus is performed, a high-torque drive waveform for performing a prescribed rotational angle reciprocating motion by a prescribed number of times is applied to the motor, before the motor is normally operated (32).
