PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for a gas turbine capable of preventing deformation of each divided body with flanges of the divided bodies always retained under a close contact condition. SOLUTION: The casing forming a passage 47 for high temperature fluid therein is divided into a plurality of divided bodies 51 by a dividing surface 50 along an axial direction C of a gas turbine 1. Each divided body includes a flange 52 projecting in a radial direction. Mutually adjoining divided bodies 51 are fastened by a plurality of fastening members 53 passing through the flange 52 under a condition where mating surfaces 52a of the flanges 52 mutually contact. Part of the plurality of fastening members 53 are arranged at a first position P1 close to an inner diameter edge 52b of the mating surface 52a, and at least part of remaining fastening members 53 are arranged at a second position P2 far from the inner diameter edge 52b.
