PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely mount and dismount a door on and from a door frame, in regard to a door hinge fitted to the upper end of the door. SOLUTION: A pivot 20 is stored in a tubular guide member 70, and a pivot drive means 80 is installed adjacent to the side part of the guide member. The pivot drive means comprises first and second shaft members 100, 110 having cross screwdriver tip engagement grooves 140, 150 formed in the end faces thereof, a link 160 fixed to the first shaft member and connected to a pin 180 at the lower end part of the pivot, a ratchet mechanism formed of a ratchet wheel 220 rotating together with the first shaft member and a claw member 230 rotating together with the second shaft member, a torsion coil spring 200 biasing a pivot pin through the link 160 to the pivot receiver 40 of a building side member 30 by biasing the first shaft member clockwise, and a torsion coil spring 250 biasing the claw member 230 to engage with the ratchet wheel by biasing the second shaft member counterclockwise.
