PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion protection-covered steel material having durability over a long period by efficiently forming a dense film having excellent corrosion resistance and hardly having defects on the surface of a steel material, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The corrosion protection-covered steel material has a covering film formed by spraying solid particulates having high corrosion resistance made into aerosol on the surface of a steel material.
