PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film substrate for a reflector that has a high reflectance, particularly supplies a high luminance as a component of a back light for a liquid crystal display and can achieve high image quality, when used as the reflector for the back light of the liquid crystal display and a reflector substrate for a light reflector and a traffic sign using a fluorescent light or a light emitting diode. SOLUTION: This polyester film for the reflector comprises a fluorescent whitener of 0.01-1.0 wt.%, has surface roughness (Ra) of at least one film surface of 0.01-0.30μm, and has a film haze of≤5.0%.
