PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of removing efficiently molten lumps of a resin adhering to a mold, e.g. vapor holes, without using a tool and disassembling the mold. SOLUTION: A mold cleaning resin for in-mold foaming is prepared by applying a wax to preliminarily foamed particles of a thermoplastic resin or impregnating the particles with the wax. The wax contains paraffin wax and an ethylene-vinyl acetate resin, and the total amount of the wax relative to that of the cleaning resin is preferably 1-30 wt.%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
