PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor capable of suppressing the displacement or vibrations of a rotor, and preventing deterioration in performance. SOLUTION: The in-wheel motor is composed of an annular rotor 42 rotating with a wheel 1, and a stator 22 arranged on an inner peripheral side of the rotor and fixed on a vehicle body side. In the in-wheel motor, a projecting portion 22a projecting to the outside in a radial direction and formed with a coated portion 26 coated with a coating for metal bearing on a surface thereof is provided on an outside end in a vehicular width direction of the stator.
