PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head in which relative positions of head component members can be matched precisely while preventing a channel substrate from cracking or breaking, and to provide a liquid ejector. SOLUTION: A first reference hole 52a and a second reference hole 52b arranged at an interval longer than the overall length of an array of pressure chamber cavities are bored in a channel substrate 40. Second through-holes 53b and 54b of a nozzle substrate 41 and a sealing plate 39 are elongated to have a dimension in the arranging direction of first through-holes 53a, 54a longer than the diameter of the inscribed circle of the reference hole, and the second case hole 34b of a head case 24 is elongated to have a dimension in the arranging direction of the first case hole 34a longer than the diameter of the inscribed circle. Relative positions of the nozzle substrate, the channel substrate, the sealing plate and the head case can be defined by inserting a first positioning pin 57a into the first reference hole, the first through-hole and the first case hole, and inserting a second positioning pin 57b into the second reference hole, the second through-hole and the second case hole, respectively.
